In all of our toddler classrooms, all of our toys are set to fit the height and age of the kiddos!
All areas of the classroom and shelving use photos and labels. This is to show and help your child navigate the classroom and find the things they love!
We want your child to be able to explore all of their interests! Our toddler curriculum is going to help them learn, develop, and find new interests! Every day will feature Language and Literacy, Math and Reasoning, Music and Movement, and Art and Drama activities!
Once your child has transitioned to the toddler room, they are required to sleep on a sleeping mat and/or sleeping bag. This is when they can have blankets and stuffed animals while napping. Nap happens from 12 pm - 2 pm. If children choose not to nap, they will be given a quiet activity until nap time is over.
We know that learning and understanding new feelings and emotions is hard for a toddler; that's why it's important for us that the bond between your child and their teacher is a good one! Teachers will implement various ways to help your child learn and understand their social-emotional skills!
Once your child shows interest in using the bathroom, we highly encourage you to start the potty-training process! When potty training is encouraged at home, let our teachers know, and we will encourage the child at school! We ask that your child be fully potty trained before transitioning to the preschool classroom. Nap diapers are the only exception.
